The Armored Group, a global leader in providing armored vehicles to NGOs, government entities, and high-net-worth individuals, is seeking an experienced Vehicles Finisher for our new manufacturing facility in the UAE. 

As a Vehicles Finisher, you will be responsible for applying the final touches to armored vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards in the automotive and defense industries. This is a unique opportunity to work on specialized armored vehicles, contributing to the safety, durability, and aesthetic appeal of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Vehicle Finishing: Perform precise finishing work on both the interior and exterior of armored vehicles, including disassembling, installing, and aligning various components according to client specifications. Carry out modifications for all parts, including seat belts and custom features, with strong problem-solving skills to address any challenges during the finishing process.
  • Fiberworks: Handle the design, modification, repair, and finishing of car parts and components using fiber materials. Ensure high-quality results in the fabrication, fitting, and final detailing of the finished product to meet client and industry standards.
  • Material Handling: Use the appropriate tools and materials (bolts, nuts, washers, etc.) to complete finishing tasks efficiently. 
  • Glass Installation and Quality Control: Fit and secure glass components into frames, ensuring a precise fit and proper sealing. Oversee quality control of all glass components upon delivery after fitting, to ensure they meet and  TAG’s standards before installation.
  • Interior and Exterior Part Installation: Install doors, door pads, and other interior parts, making adjustments as needed for perfect alignment.
  • Silicone Application: Apply silicone and other adhesives to ensure watertight seals and proper alignment of components.
  • Quality Control: Conduct inspections to ensure that all finishing work complies with TAG’s quality standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the production and quality control teams to resolve any issues related to vehicle finishing.
  • Documentation: Maintain records of finishing tasks, modifications, and quality checks for compliance and audit purposes.

Must Have

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in automotive finishing or detailing, with specific experience in armored or specialty vehicle manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment for automotive finishing, polishing, and detailing.
  • Knowledge of interior and exterior finishing techniques specific to armored vehicles.
  • General Computer Skills: Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to read charts and job orders accurately.
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in any regional languages Hindi/Urdu/Arabic languages is a plus.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, stand for long periods and lift or handle equipment and work in various weather conditions.

Nice to have

  • Camouflage Painting Skills: Experience with painting techniques, including camo patterns, is a plus.
  • Trim and Upholstery Skills: Expertise in custom interior installations, particularly for armored vehicle interiors.
  • ERP Systems: Familiarity with using ERP systems for tracking work orders and inventory management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of the unique finishing requirements for armored vehicles and client-specific modifications.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Multilingual Skills: Proficiency in additional languages to improve communication with diverse teams.
