The Armored Group, a global leader in providing armored vehicles to NGOs, government entities, and high-net-worth individuals, is seeking an experienced Junior Accountant for our new manufacturing facility in the UAE.
As an Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, supporting budget preparation, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and contributing to the company’s financial health. Responsibilities
- Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, ensuring data is up-to-date and compliant with accounting standards.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in creating budgets and forecasts, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial resources are allocated effectively.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure adherence to financial regulations, assisting with both internal and external audits.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, including verifying invoices, processing payments, and managing collections.
- Tax Filing: Support tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations and addressing any tax-related issues.
Must Have
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ODOO, SAP) and Microsoft Excel, along with strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
- Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with finance and other departments.
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Nice to have
- Additional Certifications: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent accounting certifications.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced data analysis tools.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in the automotive or armored vehicle industry.
- Familiarity with Odoo or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
