The Armored Group (TAG), a global leader in armored vehicle manufacturing, is seeking a skilled Public Relations Officer to oversee customs clearance, regulatory compliance, and document attestations for our operations in the UAE. This role is critical in ensuring smooth coordination with government entities, ministries, and embassies to support our manufacturing and business requirements.
Responsibilities

Government Liaison and Embassy Coordination: Facilitate embassy-related and governmental processes, including document attestations, export licensing, and international shipment approvals for armored vehicles and their associated equipment. Act as the main point of contact with embassies, and regulatory bodies, providing updates on the shipment, clearance, and certification status.
- Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate with local ministries, embassies, and regulatory bodies for related document, Ensure adherence to UAE customs laws, JAFZA guidelines, and all relevant industrial regulations.
- Shipping and Logistics Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound transportation. Coordinate land, sea, and air shipments of armored vehicles, cash-in-transit cars, and spare parts, managing the transportation of cargo under UAE regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records for import/export operations, inspections, and certifications. Handle daily and monthly invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
- Issue Resolution:
Address and resolve issues related to governmental filings, employee visas, and customs delays promptly.
Must Have
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Public Administration or related fields is preferred.

Minimum of 7 years in customs clearance, import/export management in the UAE and Public Relations.
- Proven expertise in managing document attestations, customs processes, and regulatory compliance.

Comprehensive knowledge of UAE customs procedures, Dubai Trade, and municipality regulations.
- Proficiency in document processing through UAE government portals (e.g. Dubai Trade, Trakhees, Tasheel, GDRFA, Dubai Trade).
- Driver’s License: UAE driver’s license is mandatory for this role.
- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
Nice to have
- Additional Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Hindi or Urdu for improved communication with diverse teams.
- Experience in Manufacturing: Familiarity with customs processes specific to the automotive or armored vehicle industry.
- ERP Systems: Experience using ERP platforms like Odoo for documentation tracking.
- Government Relations Certification: Certifications related to public relations or government documentation are an added advantage.
