Quality Control Inspector

The Armored Group, a global leader in providing armored vehicles to NGOs, government entities, and high-net-worth individuals, is seeking Quality Control Inspectors for our new manufacturing facility in the UAE. This role is essential in ensuring that our armored vehicles adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. The Quality Control Inspectors will perform detailed inspections throughout the production process, ensuring that all products meet internal standards and customer specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection of Incoming Materials: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet the required specifications before production begins.
  • In-Process Inspections: Perform regular inspections during the production process, verifying that each stage complies with quality standards and design specifications.
  • Final Product Inspection: Conduct detailed final inspections of armored vehicles to ensure that all quality, safety, and performance criteria are met before delivery to clients.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and any identified defects. Report findings to the Quality Control Manager and suggest improvements or corrective actions.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure that all inspections and quality checks adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and customer requirements.
  • Collaboration with Production: Work closely with production teams to resolve any quality issues, ensuring that corrective actions are implemented effectively.
  • Testing and Verification: Perform tests on materials and products as required, ensuring that all testing protocols are followed and results are accurately documented.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in quality control processes and suggest ways to enhance inspection efficiency and accuracy.

Must Have

  • Education: High school diploma or technical certification; additional training in quality control or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in quality inspection roles, preferably in the automotive, defense, or manufacturing industries.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality inspection techniques, with the ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify defects and recommend corrective actions. Familiarity with A3 problem-solving methodology is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in conducting inspections and recording findings
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to document inspections and collaborate with other departments.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and inspecting hard-to-reach areas of vehicles.
