The Armored Group, a global leader in providing armored vehicles to NGOs, government entities, and high-net-worth individuals, is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for our new manufacturing facility in the UAE.
As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire quality assurance process, ensuring that all products meet stringent safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance
Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system
(QMS) aligned with armored vehicles industry international standards and
client expectations.
- Process Inspection: Oversee inspections across all stages of vehicles production to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
- Compliance Management:
Ensure adherence to mandatory ISO certifications and regulatory
requirements for armored vehicle manufacturing.
- Defect and Root Cause
Analysis: Investigate produced vehicles defects, identify root causes,
and lead corrective and preventive action plans.
- Supplier Quality
Management: Collaborate with suppliers and production team to ensure
incoming materials meet quality specifications and establish quality
improvement initiatives and inspection
- Team Leadership: Lead and
mentor the quality control team, providing guidance on inspection
techniques, quality standards, and best practices.
- Audits and Reporting:
Conduct internal and external audits, prepare quality performance
reports, and present findings to senior management.
- Improvement initiative:
Drive quality improvement initiatives to enhance product reliability,
reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
Must Have
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a quality control management role, preferably in the automotive, defense, or manufacturing industries.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of quality control methodologies, armored vehicle standards, and inspection techniques.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience in managing quality control teams and driving high-performance results.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot quality issues in real-time, implementing corrective actions to ensure production schedules are met.
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in data collection and analysis to monitor quality trends and implement process improvements.
- ERP Systems: Experience with ERP systems related to quality control and production processes.
- Lean Manufacturing: Experience implementing lean manufacturing principles.
Nice to have
- Six Sigma or Lean Certification
- Experience with ISO Certifications
- Additional Languages.
- CAD Proficiency: Experience with CAD software to review technical drawings and ensure products align with design specifications.
- A3 problem-solving methodology for root cause analysis and corrective actions.
