Job Title: Production Manager

Job Type: Full-time. Location: Duqm, Oman

Overview:

The Armored Group, a global leader in providing armored vehicles to NGOs, government entities, and high-net-worth individuals, is seeking an experienced Production Manager for our new manufacturing facility in Dubai. This role is crucial in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining the highest quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production, from planning and resource allocation to meeting customer delivery timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning and Scheduling: Manage the daily production schedule to ensure on-time delivery of armored vehicles, coordinating with sales and logistics teams.
• Team Management: Lead and oversee production teams, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and efficiency in the production process.
• Process Improvement: Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with the quality control team to ensure that all products meet TAG stringent quality standards.
• Resource Management: Ensure efficient use of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all production processes comply with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Coordination with Engineering and Design: Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure that production aligns with technical specifications and client requirements.
• Reporting and Metrics: Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for production efficiency, quality, and cost management, presenting regular updates to senior management.
• Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any production issues to prevent delays and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in the automotive, defense, or manufacturing industries.
• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing production teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Process Optimization Expertise: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and industry standards in armored vehicle production or similar sectors.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues in real-time, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.
• ERP Systems: Proficiency in ERP systems for production planning and resource management.
