Role Overview

Purpose

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with TAG’s quality standards and client specifications. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality outputs, identifying defects, and ensuring that products meet safety and performance requirements.

Job Responsibilities

  • Inspection Activities:
    • Perform inspections of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products using specified quality control procedures and tools.
    • Measure and verify dimensions, tolerances, and specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Defect Identification and Reporting:
    • Identify defects, deviations, or non-conformance issues during inspections.
    • Document findings and communicate them to relevant departments for corrective action.
  • Compliance Verification:
    • Ensure products comply with applicable industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements.
    • Review and verify certifications, labels, and documentation associated with inspected items.
  • Testing and Validation:
    • Conduct functional and performance tests on components and systems as required.
    • Record and analyze test data to identify trends or areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of defects and suggest preventive measures.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality reports.
    • Prepare and submit daily or periodic quality reports to the QC Manager.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines during inspection and testing activities.
    • Promote a culture of quality and safety within the organization.

Requirements

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong knowledge of quality control processes and standards.

Role Overview

    The Quality Manager is responsible for establishing and overseeing quality assurance systems to ensure all products meet TAG’s stringent standards and client requirements. This role ensures compliance with industry regulations and fosters continuous improvement in production processes and quality practices.
  • Job Responsibilities
    • Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) aligned with armored vehicles industry international standards and client expectations.
    • Process Inspection: Oversee inspections across all stages of vehicles production to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
    • Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to mandatory ISO certifications and regulatory requirements for armored vehicle manufacturing.
    • Defect and Root Cause Analysis: Investigate produced vehicles defects, identify root causes, and lead corrective and preventive action plans.
    • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers and production team to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and establish quality improvement initiatives and inspection
    • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the quality control team, providing guidance on inspection techniques, quality standards, and best practices.
    • Audits and Reporting: Conduct internal and external audits, prepare quality performance reports, and present findings to senior management.

Requirements

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
    • ISO 9001 Certification is required; additional certifications in quality standards (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
    • Preferred additional ISO 45001 and ISO 3834.
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 7 years in quality management roles, with specific experience in automotive, armored vehicles, or manufacturing industries.
    • Proven track record in managing quality assurance systems and leading audits.
  • Skills
    • Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards.
    • Proficiency in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP).
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
